You’ve just been diagnosed. Now what?
Let’s be clear, no one chooses the path of a chronic diagnosis. But here you are, and I’m glad you are.
My name is Paul Cobbin, and like you, I didn’t get a say in my diagnosis. I’ve been through prostate cancer and survived and now I’m decoding Coronary Artery Disease, and Cerebral Small Vessel Disease.
Statistically, I shouldn’t be doing this. But here I am, living proof that a diagnosis doesn’t end your story. It gives you the chance to rewrite it.
That’s what Decode Your Diagnosis is all about. It’s not about miracle cures. It’s about clarity, courage, and reclaiming control.
Why I Created This Space
The truth is, most voices I found when I was first diagnosed were clinical. Medical. Distant.
I needed a voice that understood what it feels like to be hit by something you didn’t see coming and I needed a map forward. So I built one.
In a few weeks time starting the first week of June 2025, I’ll be sharing excerpts and a synopsis and ideas from my book The Trinity of You—a framework I developed to align mind, body, and soul after a diagnosis.
It’s raw. It’s practical. And it’s built for people like us.
I call us Titans, not patients.
Because we don’t wait. We fight. We adapt. We decode.
We find strength in the chaos, and we build something new.
What’s Coming Next
Coming June we are doing a few exiting things around the pre-sale release of the first book in the Trinity of You book series to be release in the fourth quarter of 2025 to Kindle and other places where good books are sold.
But here inside the Decode Your Diagnosis publication we are going to do something pretty unique and exclusive to our SubStack subscribers only.
For Free subscribers:
In the Open Edition of the Trinity Telegraph we’ll release sneak peaks from the chapters of the book
A free downloadable Reflection NotePad for catching your thoughts.
For paid members of The Trinity Arena:
We’ll be releasing my book directly to you one chapter at a time.
We’ll be sending a ‘pop up’ email series releasing one FULL chapter every few days until we’ve released the entire copy of book 1.
But this is not a passive reading exercise. In the Titan Arena we’ll also be releasing a Reflection Journal for you to record your comments to the practical reflections found in each chapter specifically for you to think about your diagnosis or the diagnosis of someone close to you.
The Rings Of Resilience Podcast
What would a book be without a podcast, so in the Trinity Arena we will be releasing a weekly episode of the Rings of Resilience Podcast as a way to start the conversation as a muse for the Chat sessions.
Welcome to the start of the Journey.
Let’s decode this together.
yours always,
Paul
